Slip Covers

Our slipcovers are tailor fit to your furniture. Please see some of the completed projects on the page for inspirations or ideas of fit and options.

Please be advised that we do NOT recommend washing slipcovers. Even "loose" fit or pre-washed slipcovers will shrink about 3-5% with each washing. Dry cleaning will ensure a longer life for your slipcovers.

The best fitted slipcovers are made of cotton or cotton blend fabrics. Other fabrics can be used however, all fabrics need to be a light or medium weight. This insures that the slipcovers lay nicely around the curves of the furniture. Lighter weight fabrics do not mean quicker wear, quality determines that factor.

Because all slipcovers are custom work, no cancellations or refunds can be made once fabric is cut.

Yardage recommendations are approximate; large repeats require more, and solids require less. Ordering an extra yard is always a good idea.

When to Slip Covers

One of the benefits of slipcovers is they are fitted in your home, so this gives you the use of your furniture while your slipcovers are being made. They are delivered and put on to ensure fit and your satisfaction.

On the whole slipcovers are cheaper then reupholstery? If your upholstery fabric is still useful (in fashion, fits your style, and in good condition) then you can switch up between the slipcover and the original upholstery. This gives you a change
seasonally and makes the original upholstery fabric last even longer.

Cleaning is made easy, simply remove cushion covers and unzip cover from the furniture body and dry clean.
